Inspired by Sharon J.

Inspired by a design by Sharon J., I made a card for a girl friend who just had a little 5lb girl. Congratulations Lisa!Stamps: Nursery Necessities
Ink: Purely Pomegranate, Basic Black, White Stazon
Paper: Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Whisper White
Accessories: Purely Pomegranate Ribbon, Regal Rose Brads, Pretties Kit, button (source unknown)

Inspired by a design by Sharon J., I changed the main colour to basic gray- I just loved the card and the softness and it made me feel happy therefore "life is beautiful".... I learned the best lesson on this card so although so much like the original I hope she forgives me for posting cause I had to tell what I did wrong. Be very careful of rub-ons... My cat came to visit and I did not notice and the rub on fell on the floor. Yup, I now have the ful! permanently on the bottom of my slipper. After searching for the missing piece I had cut for over half an hour I found it on my foot!!! And needless to say had to write rest in..... yes it is true!

Thinking of a sick friend.... :(

Totally inspired and scraplifting a card from Faith H. Hers is much better but I am working on it ;) In my mind she in the card guru and I only hope to learn to have some of her talent one day! I saw a saying today that is my new favourite phrase and those that know me well will understand why... or if you really pay attention to some of my older posts... Faith in my mind is "moxie fab"! Cath Edvalson used in Papercrafts to describe trends that are all the rage, truly original, amazingly inspirational, or knock-my-socks-off uber cool. From my experience with the meaning of the term I would also say she has spirit and courage to follow her gut and just do it... Here I was also attempting spotlighting techniques. I just loved the colours- they make me giddy LOL...
